If you normally attend church, they have your contact info, they know you have chronic health issues and...

....you drop out for a few months, is it normal for them to totally ignore you and not try to contact you in any way?

It depends on how connected you are to people in the church. If you don't have many close friends or aquaintences and don't do much in the church they may assume you dropped out or moved on.

@Doomflower That is very likely. I never had a chance to get to know thru because I had a collapse attack on Easter Sunday and then everyone kept away from me. I will give them a chance and see how they respond to a polite letter.
