@RodneyTrotter Haha sounds like a good plan! When he grew up in Cambodia, my dad went to a Catholic school and if the students misbehaved, the nuns would make them kneel on durian skins. That’s gotta be painful.

Once I picked up a free sample of a California roll (sushi, it was fresh) popped the whole thing in my mouth, bit down, and just was struck by the taste of raw onion. Totally unexpected and honestly I hate onion. The taste just kept getting stronger and stronger and I ended up having to spit it out in a trash can in the middle of the grocery store because I thought I was gonna puke.

I can’t handle cod liver oil. The World Health Organization advised parents all over the globe to give it to their children every day to build up their immune system so they wouldn’t catch polio. Lived with my aunt & uncle & my aunt bought mint-flavored cod liver oil and had us line up before school to take it, there was a fight with me every day and eventually didn’t have to take it. Never could stand the smell or taste of any kind of liver.

when we were kids it was poured on to a table spoon and down the hatch
once in a while Mom had mercy on us and mixed it with Kayro Syrup

Pain meds are to hard to get now days
and they can only prescribe so many by law
so you deal with the nasty taste and get it on down
Trust me ,when you suffer from none stop back pain you can endure almost anything to make it ease off
I used to choke taking 1 pill ,now sadly I can take a handful at one time
the tiny one thats for my heart ,its the only one that for some reason tries to stick to my tongue ,its also the one thats the nastiest ,,
but without it ,I end up back in ICU ,,BP so high I keep alarms going off from the time they hook me to telemetry ,
until they get my bp back down ,,it took 2 days last time
but its been perfect every since ,as long as I remember to take my pills on time
that tiny little pill was able to finally keep my BP around 120/60 -80
before then a normal reading was 165/100 ,,up to 230 /120
I can handle that pill no matter how nasty it is too
I do not want to have a stroke ,or worse

they have raised the standard ,,now 145 /80 is no longer to high
but I hope you can keep it down ,it sucks knowing pills is the only reason you're are alive ,,
But in the past they would have sent you to the ER over a BP that high
now days they monitor it ,,increase the meds that aren't working
The days I was in the hospital they changed all my meds
The doctor would not release me until my vitals were perfect
they have been good every since ,,so hopefully yours stays down too

That's disgusting, I'll tell you what else is disgusting. I give my dog fish oil for her dry skin and a bit of garlic to keep fleas away. she has this terrible habit of burping in my face. The smell is rancid!
