looking at a pile of French novels, some have

notes in the front saying translated from Swedish, Icelandic, German...and one says from American...so what do you think, is American a language?

sorta. in the same sort of way that there's europen and latin spanish... and canadian and european french.

ya I think that's what it means, none of the books actually say it's a language
