The god of the bible. People who put other people to death. Could they still come to god and receive forgiveness after they kill someone ? "Asking for a friend"

I believe religion is man-made because it just so happens you are worshipping an entity with the greatest power who can give you heaven and protect you from hell. Would we worship someone with no power, no ability to give us a reward, no ability to protect us from anything, how do we treat a lawn-mower, a homeless person, or even a criminal? We run. So all in all we just love ourselves because we are the constant and everything else the variables that we move towards or far away from depending on what’s in it for us.
Anyhow, the Bible talks about an unpardonable sin, something about blaspheming the Holy Spirit or something. But apparently as long as you don’t blaspheme the Holy Spirit by accepting Jesus as God and Savior, you can do whatever you want. I used to be a Christian from ages 18-21 and then it all just made no sense to me so I walked out of it, but I found this on google images:
