You ever live with roaches?
I've given up naming them. I've assigned them numbers.

A roach problem is only caused by the nastiest of filth. Old food trash that has sit too long, cat litter, pissy bathroom trash. Only way you can really solve the problem is by cleaning everything with bleach water or some other strong cleaner. Before that though, find the nest and just start killing them as you see them. Then clean, clean, clean. They will find the next filthiest place to go to next. Meaning your neighbors down the street

If you're ever passing by them, you might bring it up and tell them what I told you to get rid of them. Because simply calling an exterminator alone does not work. They don't do what needs to be done
