Why do some people like people that are fiesty?

My best friend got fiesty and one of my cousins (girl said) "Ooh she is fiesty. I like it. I've never seen her fiesty side."
I don't understand. My cousin tells me I'm the opposite of fiesty and I'm WAY too nice and a lot of people avoid me.
