How come some people be not nice but not mean of a person?

It makes no sense. Either you're nice or you're not nice. One of the girls I know is sarcastic, witty and the queen of comebacks but she is a sweetheart once you get to know her but deep deep down. She doesn't show her sweetness too much and hates mushy moments. She isn't always a nice person but a lot of people like her and love her jokes. I'm a very nice NICE person sweet and kind but a lot of people don't seem to like me and even some of my peers think I'm "too nice". Sometimes her sarcasm is brutal and offends me. I though she was nice. Nobody messes with her. I always get messed with and taken advantage of. Can someone explain why some people like not too nice people than someone that's nice and very nice. How can you bee not nice but not mean?

There afraid to drop their guard cause if they drop there guard you'd get to see them clearly and then there afraid of being taken advantage, usually happens in groups, that why I see people on one and one's cause if you cant take it , it could throw you mentally . Then you could end up hating yourself from feeling different . It's the new age these days to have that type of image , gossip and the rest of that bull shit that goes with it

@PoppyLoveLala explain she is respectful but not nice , that's very hard to understand . Unless she has other problems going on that she's not telling you that upsetting her
