How can African be an ethnicity and Asian be a race when BOTH are continents?

They call Blacks' nationality, culture etc as Africans only. Unlike Africa Asia has more diversity in ethnicity. In West, normally, only South east and east Asians are considered as Asian only. Arabs are different ethnicity all together from East Asians, so are taken as Arabs only. South Asia wasn't the original part of Asia in past, that's why it's called subcontinent and the people as Indians.

theres diversity in ethnicity in Africa. They aren’t all black with nappy hair. Just like all Asians don’t have “Chinese eyes” so what’s your point?

@NoSugarCoating I told you the way it is and why, I called Blacks are considered as African only. Even if Egypt/morocco etc are in Africa, but the people are all together are of different races and ethnicities. Africans are strictly used for the blacks.

Race strictly depends on genetics. Ethnicities are not.
