Who Loves Fresh Donuts?

@SW-User Have you had yeasted donuts? More bready and bordering on/into savory territory. My grandma makes these German yeasted donuts, which are a type of fastnacht, that are incredible.

@SW-User Super good. I could send you a recipe for them next time I have the family recipe book out, if you like. They take a little doing but they're so worth it. You can either sugar them or not. Some people eat them with hard boiled eggs, they're good like that. Crispy on the outside and with a nice bready chew on the inside. Currants for just a touch of sweetness.(Can be omitted.) 🤤
