Truth hurts, GET OVER IT!!

Nobody is going to butter you up with things you WANT to hear. It does no good. Your feelings are hurt? Good! It gets you to shape up and learn from your mistakes and stupidity. Just saying. Honest people don't apologize for being honest. Some people are weak ass pansies.

You can be both honest and kind. Just saying.

@EmptyGirl2001 Screaming at them will not motivate them to lose weight if they already feel bad about themselves.

@EmptyGirl2001 What aboutt them?
It their problem, not yours. You did enough just by saying something

@EmptyGirl2001 Tact, but assertiveness, meaning you still attacked them. That is not a good combo.

@EmptyGirl2001 Since it looks like this happens often, are you sure you're using tact (the right way) and not just being mean and using honesty as an excuse for saying openly what you think?
NativeOregonian · 51-55
@Melpomene Sounds like it to me.

@EmptyGirl2001 You say you like truth and honesty, and apparently no holds barred. Well, here it is, your attitude stinks, you are going to do nothing but push others away. Do you really want that?
Melpomene · 22-25, F
@NativeOregonian @EmptyGirl2001 Hypocrisy or cowardice?
NativeOregonian · 51-55
@Melpomene I'd say a smidgen of both.

@EmptyGirl2001 Actually, they don't unless you give them a reason to think that way...

@EmptyGirl2001 Or maybe you should reevaluate if you're really using ''fucking tact''. There are time and place for everything. Sometimes people need something harsh to wake them up but most of the time that's not the case and you can tell them the truth without being assertive. ''A spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down'' doesn't mean you should be lying or beautifying the truth but being kind to someone will almost always get a much better reaction than just bluntly saying what you have and being all like ''there. That's the truth. You don't like it? Well, it's true. Deal with it''

@EmptyGirl2001 Then if you claim that is tact, you need to take classes in civility and learn what real tact is. You have a real attitude problem, little girl.
