It’s probably because they’ve been shamed for being straight for so long. Finally they can be around others, straight like them, and for once be proud... of who they are. (Please add appropriate levels of sarcasm to this)

@JustGoneNow yeah, and safety in numbers means they don't have to worry about people yelling, "hey breeder!" and getting beaten up by gay hooligans if they hold hands in public.
@SW-User So True. I dream of a day when straight people can be accepted... not looked down upon as wrong and immoral people.

@JustGoneNow I'm so glad they can be in public with out shame. It must be hard for straight people to make it public with all the negativity mainstream puts on them.
@UserNameSW Not all society. Some believe it can be a woman and a man too but many people can still be judgmental about opposite sex stuff. Some day they’ll be truly accepted, I hope. ✌️
