Should I get a dog?

My sister is moving soon so I will be on my own once again bitter sweet and am thinking of getting a pet? Any ideas

@Ben38 only males spray. you can take them out for a walk i do it all the time! fleas are not an issue if you use medicine every 4 months. naysayer!
