Should I get a dog?

My sister is moving soon so I will be on my own once again bitter sweet and am thinking of getting a pet? Any ideas

I feel like a cat will not play with me as much :(

You would be wrong. :) A lot of cat breeds LOVE to play. I trained my cat to walk on a leash, and loved to play.
