@SW-User No, I was asking this question as in a way to say what does the one have to do with the other. A child being adopted or your own doesn't change the status of the mother being a single mom.

@SW-User Adoption is fucking awesome, why would anyone criticize you for that? You're giving some lucky kid a better life. The problem is that not many would do it because they'd prefer their own, which is something encoded in our genes.
