@Sacredestate Besides honesty, when I read or hear this "kind" of complaint, I can´t avoid to remember with a smile another an older one: "There are NO MORE men".
This saying is as old as cavewomen.😁 But haves, at least, two other meanings:
- "There are no men like the ones I want for me, even if they are like other women want for them"
- "There are a lot of men like the ones I like, but I want one of them for me. And, as other women saw them earlier, the good ones are all taken"
A thought for women: Perhaps, probably, for sure, there are a lot of men ruminating in silence (that´s what we do) something similar from the other side of life.
I used to lie as a teenager. Took me a while to realise everyone could see through it and then none of them trusted me. I value trust highly enough to be wary of even telling a white lie nowadays.
Everyone lies (Science proves this) or has lied in blatant ways and subtle ways and to ourselves. It doesn't mean someone isn't honest. If that makes sense..
I think I'm honest, to a point, I will at times tell a white lie, like if it was to protect a child from being hurt because the dog was ran over, as far as adults go, ask me a question I will be as honest with you as the day is long. That is if I reply to the question, some things are better left unsaid.
