Would you chase someone if they poured cold water on you?

My girlfriend and I were walking on the beach when this guy ran by and poured a bucket of cold water on me. I didn't yell or chase him because I didn't wanna make a scene.

I think you should have reported him, at least, if there’s a lifeguard there. He shouldn’t be able to just go around treating people like that.

It would be tempting, but the reality is what are you gonna do once you catch up with him? You risk a lot by beating him up and the damage was already done so it can't be taken back.

@curiosi my girlfriend on the other hand is, she asked me if I wanted her to kick his ass lol. She's taller and stronger than me, but I said it's not necessary.

You bet your ass. One man's "joke" is another man's assault.
People wear all kinds of medical devices or bandages under their clothing (that is supposed to be kept dry). Damage the right persons' medical device and they won't chase you, they'll send their little metal drones after you.
