@XenonRush I mean sure. Parts of it are nice, but other parts arent so nice.
Any way you cut it it is a very congested city. Traffic is utterly atrocious and the closer you get to LSU the worse it is...especially during football season.
Its extremely humid but that's the norm in southern Louisiana.
Crime is pretty bad in the worst parts and bearable but still present in the better parts. Best not to leave things unlocked nor valuables in sight in any part of the city. But gentrification is bound to take its course and wash some of that out eventually.
I say go for it if city life is your thing.

@XenonRush ehhh I'd say it's better than new orleans. At least you can park your car and make left turns in BR. I went to college in NO and it was fun for a minute but I quickly grew to detest that city lol. It stinks, the roads are awful, the food isnt all its cracked up to be, and parking is a god damn nightmare. Not to mention the crime.
No I havent.

@XenonRush tbh if you arent from those towns then there really isnt much there for you.
I'd say your best bet is Lake Charles. It is in the transition period from medium/small town to full fledged city. New jobs and industry flooding in by the day.
Best of both worlds if you stay around the outskirts.
