Where do you go that doesn't involve spending money?

Besides work... I want to get out the house but there isn't anything to do, especially around here. It's 90 degrees so I don't really want to go outside/to a park.

It's too bad that mall culture is dying. I used to love to hang out in malls. You could become a morning person and get out before it gets hot, but not everyone is adapted for that.

I grew up in the deep south before air conditioning became common. A couple of the first two public places to get air-conditioned were the movie theater and the library.

I still think of them as the best escapes from sweltering hot weather.

The heat isn't pleasant, it's hot here as well. I still go for a walk every day. Being outside is therapeutic for me.

I like to go hiking, which is generally free to do unless it’s a park with a small entry fee.
