Just form small bonds with everyone you meet. Most people are just as anxious as you, or bored, so just make it a point to talk to everyone you meet during the day. You'll get better and better at it, and you'll grow more comfortable speaking to anyone. That'll help a lot when you need to form stronger bonds.
In addition, if you're going to be having conversations, make sure to keep the focus on them as much as possible--unless you're losing interest in the conversation, then you should talk about yourself some or a topic that you like.
But, people love to talk about themselves, so that's a good place to start. Also don't be afraid of joking around with them and a little bit of teasing. It helps, because people are kinda wary of people who are "too nice"; so, just making small jokes, say, about their choice of coffee or accessories, whatever it is (as long as it's not their appearance or capability, watch to see if they get offended, if they do, you fucked up, so move on quickly and compliment them).
Then mix in some compliments, too. The compliments will seem more genuine, because they can trust that you're giving them the truth, because you didn't mind making a small joke at their expense.
