Not so much keep but I have them as a reference to who I've talked to.

@Afterhoursdownlow: interesting...i tend to delete them but i have a good memory of who i talked to

@JarJarBoom: The ones that I spend a great deal of time talking to I tend to remember but sometimes the people I have a one or two off conversation with don't register as well. I'm old and feeble.

@JarJarBoom: I'm not THAT old but sometimes my body betrays me. Sigh.

@Afterhoursdownlow: so what would be your reason for leaving?

@JarJarBoom: With all social networking sites I just hit a wall. I try to reach out to people on here that might be interesting to chat with and because of life or maybe something I do or someone else grabs their attention and I fall to the background, I just feel like there's never a true connection to keep me coming back here. I'm not looking for anything more than being able to talk to someone and know they want to talk back to me at times, but it just doesn't work out that way. It's still fun to see posts and comment here and there and if I have something to post I might post it, but I feel a bit hollow with that being the only reasons I bother coming back.

@Afterhoursdownlow: i kind of feel the same, there are a handful of people that keep me here but as far as connecting i find myself skeptical

@JarJarBoom: I'm a skeptic now too. It just really set in this week for some reason. I was on EP and it was a fun little escape from real life but the same thing happened there. The addiction to seeing what happens next and if you want to check in just to see if there's alerts from something you posted kind of gets old. I'm not trying to have a pity party... I'm just being honest with myself.

@Afterhoursdownlow: no, i fully understand...you are not the first person to express this

@JarJarBoom: I know. That's why I feel silly expressing it at all. But there is just an emptiness to the experience for me more and more. It is nice hearing from people "hey, that story was cool or fun" or whatever but yeah. The sad thing is I probably won't try to get deleted from the site, I'll probably just move on from it and check in from time to time lol

@JarJarBoom: I think from now on I just won't have expectations on here and maybe that will help.

@JarJarBoom: Ok then... but minimal expectations. It is nice to connect with someone and share with them. I still love that aspect. But I won't expect anyone to try and keep up with me.

@Afterhoursdownlow: i enjoy escapism, i love putting away my real life stresses and just conversate for the sake of conversation but im tired of people thinking im willing to give up my life just to pursue something that i know would never fully work

@JarJarBoom: Sounds interesting... Do you mean pursue relationships with someone on here or something else?

@Afterhoursdownlow: ugh...the relationship aspect...im not looking for a freaking boyfriend

@JarJarBoom: I understand that. Neither am I. If I'm looking for anything it's more companionship to know I can talk to someone if I want. But, yes, you never struck me as the type to look here for a relationship. You express your wants so well, though, that I can see why you'd get that sort of attention.

@JarJarBoom: I understand that. But on places like this, doing that is like leading flies to the bug zapper on a summer evening. And now I have that scene from Bug's Life in my head... "Don't go into the light!!!" "I can't help it, it's so beautiful!"

@JarJarBoom: True. I've always loved reading those because you do have a way with words. But I agree, you shouldn't have to censor yourself when that's one of the reasons you're a member. This back and forth with you helped me understand you way better than I expected.
