Are you a vegetarian or vegan to help reduce your carbon footprint?

What's hilarious is that people talk about reducing their carbon footprint, but you can't just get new lenses for your glasses (making use of your old frames) every year, you have to buy the latest electronic device because the previous version won't perform necessary functions, you can find someone to fix your tv but it's cheaper to buy a new one, etc.

What I eat, is having little to no effect on my carbon footprint.
