Is it asking too much, for wanting people to act civil when it comes to discussing sensitive topics?

@TheunderdogofNY I think part of it is due micro agressions in these kinds of conversations.

I don't believe in micro aggressions. I believe in having a conversation and discussing different viewpoints. Agree to disagree and giving respect as it's given to you. Being overly sensitive will get you no where in life.

@TheunderdogofNY if that's what you want you can have it. Lol I have conversation like that with someone. He said I was being overly sensitive. Okay i toned down. We an intellectual fight with good polite insults and all.

@latinbutterfly Especially where US politics and gun control are concerned. There's huge polarisation. Though I shouldn't single out Americans. Or I may start another polarised argument!
