does anyone else have this problem with a co worker.

Ok, so for around 5 months now my bosses hired this guy to join our team. He wanted to remain self employed even though he's full time and doing the same work as the rest of us. This guy is always late for work, decides when he will take a lunch break and for hour long, can never meet a deadline, ignores all the rules and is rude to customers. However my bosses think he's the bees knees. He talks about everyone behind there backs, yet sucks up to your face. He's on more money than the rest of us and doesn't show up to work everyday and he won't phone in or let others know about not attending work. No matter what you say about the bloke, my bosses still think he is the best thing since sliced bread. Today it was announced that I am leaving my job as a floor manager to move overseas and what qualifications are needed in order to fill my position. Even the advertisement states to tick all the boxes. This guy Yesturday had asked the bosses if he could reduce his hours. However today has applied for my position and even though my bosses have told me that no one there is even close to being qualified enough for my job, yet have strongly considered his application. I know it's not my problem because I'm leaving but doesn't it make one angry to know that all these years I have been putting in long hours, 6 days a week. I drive 3-4 hours round trip to and from work everyday, yet I'm always there earlier than required. I have worked hard in tripling the monthly profits and cost effective staff production. I help everywhere when is needed and more. I take work home with me etc. All to be replaced with this lazy, arrogant, inconsiderate prick who doesn't want to be there in the first place.

No that's the thing. I'm leaving my job after 5 years of being in charge.

Yeah I will be working elsewhere back in Australia. Lol. Oh I do understand what your saying. This isn't the first time I have been through this experience but it certainly is the worst. @faefairy:

It's a business that's going to burn if they put this guy in charge. My fellow Co workers have already told me that if they put him in charge, then they all are walking. I'm not going to mention this to my bosses. I think if they want this guy, then they can learn the hard way. Very bad business choice to make. He will bring down the company.
