Someone told me they eat pigeon, is that safe?

I find that so nasty since pigeons have so many diseases! Why would anyone get a dirty city pigeon of the street and eat it???? This person has pigeon traps in his back yard yuckkk lol

@Byron8by7 I was introduced to his work in 1970 when a guy I worked with loaned me a tape recording of his songs. Been a fan ever since.
