Someone told me they eat pigeon, is that safe?

I find that so nasty since pigeons have so many diseases! Why would anyone get a dirty city pigeon of the street and eat it???? This person has pigeon traps in his back yard yuckkk lol

i do wonder what the chances of contracting histoplasmosis or cryptococcosis by eating pigeons are though

@SW-User you get histoplasmosis from breathing the specific type spores growing on the droppings...I’ve had it. Chickens pens can have it too. As well as nests of blackbirds and other kinds.
