"Bobby's Girl" by Marcie Blane. When I was young (6 and 7) I had a boyfriend (my first) named Bobby. We kissed (quite openly) in the halls, held hands, hugged and told each other we "loved" you. Childish fantasy? I don't think so. I was the only girl in the entire class who was invited to an otherwise-all-boys birthday party. He moved away a few years ago when his mother died, and he gave me a passionate hug on our last meeting. WOW oh WOW! I felt seven years old all over again. There will never be another boy/man like Bobby.
