I want to go to Galveston and fish somewhere near on the beach. Have seen videos of people pulling one fish after another out of the sea.

@cherokeepatti I went fishing in the foothills just east of the Rocky mountains in Alberta. 13 casts brought in 13 rainbow trout. They taste delicious cooked in butter over an open fire.

@cherokeepatti If you go further down the coast toward Corpus Christi or North Padre Island, there will be fewer people fishing and you should have very good luck.

@hippyjoe1955 I bet they did.

@cherokeepatti The stream I was fishing comes right off the glacier about 50 miles away so the water is very cold and the fish are nice and firm. I took a fellow out to a southern eatery and ordered a BBQ roast beef. He ordered catfish. After one bite he commented "Now I remember why I don't like warm water fish". He couldn't finish the meal.

@hippyjoe1955 Wild trout are one of the healthiest foods there is, it has something in it that is anti-aging, farm-raised trout only have a tiny percentage of it.
