Are you right?

Or will you double-down on your douchebag opinions?

Opinions are subjective. Unless you give me a good reason to change mine, I am right in believing mine.
@SW-User just because that's true, it doesn't mean I care to hear people's thoughts on a weekly basis. I understand people have differing opinions. It's just that some people try changing my opinion, which is possibly impossible. They still don't stop! I try playing music through my headphones, but my boss thinks that he should turn up the volume on this radio. He's old, so I guess his hearing isn't as good as mine, but I can hear droning voices echo pass my songs. It's not a good way to change my opinion and drives me further away from his understanding. He's just a douche!

@GuyThatEvery1Seems2Hate Maybe, be direct and tell them what you think.

@GuyThatEvery1Seems2Hate I do not know all the facts and circumstances so I would be ignorant to give an opinion based on the little you have said .I can offer a story based on a few points ,most people would not even take into consideration ,

On my jobs ,when we are cutting ,materials like sheet rock ,expensive moldings and trim ,custom wall coverings ,even tile ,,drilling a hole through a wall or floor

We call out measurements all day long
We have a cut man hearing things called out to him
and we have our own way of doing it as to avoid confusion

But if radios /boom box's are playing ,its hard to commit that measurement to memory or even hear it ,

When I hire you ,and I pay you very well for your services
I expect things done my way

Some music make me nervous ,some takes my mind off my job ,its a flash back to a memory ,and I am distracted
When your are in pain ,and songs that bring back painful memories are played ,,I can't function and I have smashed boom box's and tossed them out a window ,when a jerk said he didn't care what I was going through ,he needed his music to do his job well ,,so I banned it all together
And I can't get someones attention if they have head phones or ear buds in on the job ,

So where you work that may never be an issue
But as a rule ,my job ,my rules ,I do not need to explain why
You can comply ,,or find a job elsewhere
My opinion in this case is the only one that counts
I am paying for that privilege
