My people were pagans before our emperor made a business deal with a pope around 1000 a.c . Everyone had to pick up the catholic faith or die. Interestingly,most of the religious celebrations are on the same date as the pagan celebrations were according to scrolls(including Christmas).

@Quizzical the emperor had a brother who wanted to stick to the pagan ways. They had equal power. So Istvan (the converted one) killed his brother,got him chopped in 4 pieces and displayed them around the 4 major boroughs of the empire. The pope declared him a saint shortly after that. Kids in school still learning about him as Istvan the saint . That’s what’s spooky

@Bagalamaga Amazing the horrible, violent, and disgusting things people do in the name of religion.

It seems to appeal to our darkest nature giving us an excuse to do whatever we wish.
