low self esteems seems to be everywhere not just here. My friends and I were in a wedding yesterday, and we were taking photos of each other in our dresses, and they complained about every photo of themselves talking so negatively about themselves even though the photos looked great. 🙄 It was annoying honestly lol.

Reasons?
Sensitive nature that has/is being trampled on.
Repeatedly told you are inferior until you start to believe it.
Believing Hollywood's impossible standards are the ideal.
Brought up to believe you are nothing.

Yet,it's all in the mind...

"Don't you know you're beautiful just the way you are? Your scars make you beautiful."

So, listen to the man! ☺️

While I don’t disagree with you philosophically on this, I’m cognizant that I have work to do on myself before I’d rate myself more than “moderately neato.”

Talk to me when I’m out of treatment for this eating disorder nightmare, and I’ll rate myself more highly, though.
