What exactly IS the line between confidence and arrogance?

I think that the two are polar opposites! A confident person doesn't feel a need to boast or talk down to others, I think arrogance stems from insecurity and a feeling of inferiority.

@Nemiko They are opposites. I think it's down to subjectivity, too. Some people might perceive someone as being arrogant when they are really just confident.

@lauriethecolourful I think it's safe to say that if said person makes you feel uncomfortable, it's arrogance - if said person makes you feel welcome and more confident yourself, it's confidence.
