Why do people from India
Call themselves Indians if they don't even wear feathers in their hair?

they don't need feather in their hair, lol. People from India are called "Indians". The American Indians are not called Indians anymore, they are called "natives","aboriginals", "First Nations",etc. To call the American Indians as "Indians" is insulting now. BTW, first nations people actually wear jeans and t-shirts like the rest of us. The feather in their hair as you call it is for special ceremonies, example: Pow WoW held every year.
