In high school I was impressed by the symmetry and properties of the tetrahedron when studying a subject aligned with engineering and then the fascination grew in another subject examining the tetrahedral molecule.
But as far as aesthetics are concerned I love the curved properties of the wave since it is so closely aligned to acoustics .... or better put.... music!
