Easter egg hunts

Creative ideas for hiding Easter Eggs in the garden? We have trees and bushes and some low dry stone walls.

I have 2 of my own and 6 more coming, ages 7 to 11 and they are pretty good hunters. I have put things up in trees at buddy help height to make things more interesting. Maybe I should buy camouflage wrapping paper

We used to have a family one every year. Good fun

My kids always enjoyed the Easter egg hunts, and when the weather didn't cooperate, we had the Easter egg hunt in the house. That was even more fun.

Bury some in the flower beds with just a tip sticking out.

Or bury some completely, but make them a treasure map.

And sometimes the most obvious spots are the hardest to find.

@reece treasure maps sounds like a good idea

My grandpa frequently made me treasure maps to find hidden quarters in his backyard when I was little. (In fact, when the maps started to get more complex, that was how I learned to use a compass.)
