What does the term Feminism mean to you?

so many use this word so many ways. lets keep cool headed and give a real definition hm?
YES there will be many

2 currently prominent stances are

to support the advancement of women's rights, in an attempt to achieve total equality for women.

or

A Hostile position, taken by many, that is misdirected hatred that seems obsessed with the idea that we're in the worst possible world, and every straight, man is to blame.

Man hater. Topless rights. Higher pay. Dike rights. Or freedom to pursue happiness without gender playing a role.

One of the above.
@abe182 would you read and think about the post by blueVeins? it would seem you fall into his category 2.
do you think his first definition is groundless?

thanks for participating

@SatyrService I don't think I personally fall into any category. I stated in my last phrase, freedom to pursue. This is what feminism should be.

Thanks for attempting to put words in my mouth.
@abe182 no not trying to put words IN Mouths.
I am looking for all the spectra.

i particularly like
freedom to pursue.

a key idea for all people.

@SatyrService OK good. Feminism has been hijacked by many groups each with their own agenda. The vision has become considerable blurred.
@abe182 i think you are on to something there..
it seems hardly is some group with a productive idea is hardly started but it gets taken over, by hostile person, seeking a scapegoat
