those who join a cult typically do not realize they are joining a cult, which is about mind control, often achieved through a deliberative process that requires the victim to separate himself or herself from the most significant and influential people in his or her life. It is heartbreaking to witness a loved one get sucked into a cult, and joyous when a loved one breaks from a cult. I have not been in a cult but I have watched a loved one go though this. Years later, it is something that still angers and shocks me. The only people I truly hate in this world are those who lead a cult and know exactly what they are doing.

@BiasForAction yes I think they are controling people's life by confusing them but they are not confused at all. And I think they say people we will make you more liberate

This makes a cult: When we follow an unorthodox, extremist, or false religion or sect who often live outside of conventional society under the direction of a charismatic leader. So, no.

No specific thinking style can be their leader

@Katte An unusual interpretation. I tend to remain within the etymological framework of a given language rather than random, conceptualised, metaphysical thought.

Having different opinions makes a better society i think

If you accidentally find yourself in a cult you’re perfect for a cult.
StevetheSleeve · 31-35, M
@Katte You should be wary, for sure.

Yeah I finally know what they are. So from now on i hope it will be easier
StevetheSleeve · 31-35, M
@Katte I hope so. They can come in many forms, though.

Everyone's born into one. Societal indoctrination starts in the family home.

Schools and colleges are also like that
Maybe we should call them a cult
Maybe we should call them a cult

@Katte I think you're right. We should call all of them cults if we're expected to follow their rules without question. Add the military to that list.

@SW-User yeah and they use your emotions and beliefs to make u obey them. They have definitely unnamed cults
