Have we SW users become toughened up to fellow users because of the spammers or is it just how people are these days?

Have we started taking a every human for him/herself approach even here. I had some really nice first conversations with people , different opinions but always had space for each other to grow. All that we mostly see anymore is lies , deceit, anger and mistrust.

@zefyr Trumpism and identity politics has caused this. Everyone somehow became too unique and special for their own good. I think 'absentee parents' contributed to this dynamic also.

@zefyr Well, at least today's spooky world makes it a blessing to be old. Young people have work to do, and old people are looking forward to a nice long sleep!
