"Nobody's free until everybody's free" - True, false, somethin in between?

I like that saying because even us "free" people are dependent on people who slave away in less fortunate countries.

Why?

@LunaInvicta: We are selfish by nature.
@CookiePounder: Nature is what we make up for ourselves. We are too intelligent to have a nature, I think.

@LunaInvicta: Then why can't we break habits?
@CookiePounder: We can and I'm sure, you had a habit once you don't have now. But we need to understand and train our brain first. Willpower doesn't really help. Our habits are placed in the brain's basal ganglia and cannot be accessed easily. If you repeat something for 21 days, then new highways in your brain will form and maybe the undesired habit has gone away.

@LunaInvicta: That 21 day rule, huh. A lot can happen in 21 days. By the way, it's cus we need help. That nobody seems to give. That's why we don't change.
