I don't get it why do people feel the need to lie that they broke up with the person when its them who got dumped

So what it you got dumped? Just because you got dumped it doesn't mean you're a loser or some negative shit it clearly mean that person never deserved you sheesh

I guess it is a pride thing. In the moment you feel that if someone dumped you it is because you weren't good enough, thus you don't want to admit it.
