Have you ever been having a good conversation with someone, and then you mention you have a partner and they suddenly stop messaging you?

I thought they were enjoying the conversation, but clearly they had more in mind.

Good to know early on in the friendship before you really started liking them and they left. Hopefully it wasn't someone you were really starting to like.

@gmatthewb Yeah, not too much time was spent, but the conversation seemed to be heading in a good direction. Shame they felt differently, but I'm sure I'll recover.

@maybesomeday Of course you'll recover. You still have your partner and you'll find other friends (probably better ones that want to be friends and no more) that will help you feel better and have fantastic conversations with them. This is just a minor set back. Keep your chin up and a smile in your heart.
