If you have ever experienced a mental health issue or anything that negatively impacted your life, have you ever been afraid to go back to the place

where you suffered incase it came back? I know that's not logical at all, but it's what I have been experiencing recently and it's frightening.

Going back to the figurative “scene of the crime” is (of course!) going to bring back memories of that time. Could it cause a relapse? It might. It could be that you have not fully expunged or processed the feelings you encountered at that time and in that place. What’s important to remember is “That was then. This is now.” You are a different person. You’ve been through your crucible. You are changed. Strength is not gained in owning a sword. Strength is gained in picking it up.
