Filed for unemployment, only getting 150 bucks a week! Thats nothing! At least i get a small severance though

@curiosi the way they calculate it is stupid. Its complicated. I was making 52k a year

@curiosi something about the base period and how much i made during a certai. Period. I was unemployment for part of it which counted against me. The max here you get is 350 a month

@Tminus6453 its based on a base period or something. I was unemployed at a certain period and i think that had something to do with it

@MntoNc I think here you have to have been employed at least 500 consecutive hours to qualify

@MarmeeMarch yup...and the 150 is taxed so probably a little less!!! I forgot the way they calculate it yeah, indeed is my favorite one followed by linkedin.

@MntoNc i think you could have them NOT take taxes out now - but at the end of the year you will pay=======just saying if you need all the money now ??

@MarmeeMarch its not an urgent need because of tge severance and i have money saved. 150 taxed a week isnt much. Probably like 130 after tax
