Ectopic heartbeats - most people have them: some people don't even notice them. They are rarely anything other than a nuisance. No doctor would medicate for occasional ectopics. If they become frequent - as in several almost consecutively over 13-30 mins, see a doctor, but in nearly every case, ectopic are benign. But at your age it's very unlikely they mean anything that would be treated.
