Do you think we would have had more progress if we stayed with the traditional way of having slaves?

Well A lot of nations in South America ran on slavery such as Brazil and had them longer than that of the US. But compare the societies of South America to North America and you can quickly debunk that slavery didn’t really contribute to economic progress.

@Pfuzylogic well its not i'm from belgium so i learned dutch from birth as a second language i learned french (which i suck at ) and then english. which is way better then my french. well i don't mind that i sound like a non native. my point is i don't care if you're offended i think its quite silly. if you want to be offended do it in your own time and don't filthy up my question with it :)
i'm here for mindful discussion about topics others might find interesting to ponder about.
