Is he pretending to not notice me?

Me and my crush have three classes together. On my way to the our second class together, i find him sitting on my seat (has been mines for almost a month in school) and he says "oh are you sitting here?" That confused me because: 1. He sits across from me, on the other side of the room and 2. We sometimes make a lot eye contact (he wears glasses so the reflection in them makes it hard to tell).
And yes. I am butt hurt that I was THAT unnoticable to somebody, even more so to my crush.
I replied with a "yes" and then he stated to his friend next to us that he doesnt wanna sot by the teacher anymore. Then he left to his seat.
