Do you think it's okay for a freshman to go to prom if they really want to?

@Billybob2 in my day only juniors or seniors could ask someone in their grade. No freshmen or sophomores were allowed to go.

@SW-User they have changed it now, I couldn't wait to go to prom myself so I asked out a senior and she took me.

@SW-User freshman and sophomores are seen as guests, so they don't have to buy tickets.

@SW-User a senior guy asked if he could cut in during one of our dances, I would have let him but my date told him no immediately lol, we danced for the rest of prom.

@SW-User It was a beautiful sparkling dress. We kept the fact that I was a freshman a secret so we wouldn't stir anyone up, juniors and seniors sometimes get butthurt when freshman and sophomores are at prom, I blended in as a senior.

@SW-User it was also funny too, that same night I got into a dance battle with my history teacher lol.
