Ladies: Would you abort a child a child who you knew would be retarded?

If that is the reason, and my pregnancy was planned, then my answer is NO, I would not. But I would have it and put it up for adoption, which would be the only reason I’d put any baby up for adoption. I could never raise a baby with a disability.

Yes, I know a few good mothers raising children with disabilities and doing an excellent job. I just couldn’t do it and don’t feel bad about saying it. The kid would be better off with someone who can. It’s just not me. @MarmeeMarch

I sure that every parent wish they had a better life. I know that I do. I always wish for a better life for myself, so that I can be a better mom to my kids. Parents with disabled children are still parents. @MarmeeMarch
