I take offense at the government calling capital cases "The people vs john doe." Because quiet frankly I am one of the people and I want no part in the state sanctioning and carrying out grieving families revenge for them.

I know they're sad and looking for closure but killing the murderer won't bring them closure, closure is a myth anyways, the final stage of grief is not restoration or healing but acceptance-it will ALWAYS hurt.

I've lost somebody dear to me myself in a senseless accident which was her best friends fault. I don't think getting back at Jennifer (that was her name) will bring me peace about what happened to Cara.

I know it will always hurt. There will always be a hole inside me that she used to fill.

This is why I don't really believe in capital punishment and don't really want the government to assume it has my endorsement or support in killing anyone in my name.
