Is it impolite to not respond to the answers you get to questions on here?

A friend of mine on here told me it’s impolite not to respond but I’m not really sure.

I don't think it matters. Sometimes i feel like responding to all of them. And sometimes i just feel like reading them all but not hearting or replying to any of them. & i'm not gonna let some human make me feel bad about that
