Is it too much?

I've been trying to make an effort to be more vulnerable and open here about my life growing up and my traumas.

I do so by writing free form poetry, coupled with a song, and a cropped photo of myself. They are nude, and are marked as such. I feel it's an integral part of understanding me.

So far, most of those I am friendly with have responded positively, but since this is both an exercise in venting, and making myself better understood, I am hesitant to continue using nudity, even if it is heavily cropped, for something that many people would otherwise see, even if I personally believe it to be integral to understanding.

How is nudity integral to understanding you?

@IllusoryKindness not much at all. Really wouldnt even be considered nude by most stretches of the imagination.

With how low people wear their pants these days, youd probably see more on a gusty day.
@Moosepantspatty But you said it’s integral to understanding you?

@IllusoryKindness oh my apologies! I read your comment as how much.

My body has taken center stage in my life from a very young age at the hands of my mother, who would not even allow me to use the bathroom without supervision, and later on my first real girlfriend, whom I was with all the way up until a year or so before I retreated indoors.
@Moosepantspatty Oh. Then do what makes you feel better. As long as you aren’t hurting anyone, it shouldn’t upset others.

@IllusoryKindness it hasn't so far (thankfully), but I feel like people would be far more inclined to look if it didnt feature any nudity. Which is frustrating and counter productive.
@Moosepantspatty In my current state of mind, it’s probably truefor me. But you can’t cater for everyone.
